Concept Statement - Horticulture

I started out with this paragraph and boiled it down to the last statement.

                                                                                                                                                                   

This intervention strives to be a beacon in the Holden Heights community.  As such this pavilion provides a haven for both the local residents and visitors to learn about the process of gardening while also being a destination for coming together.

                                                                                                                                                                   

To grow the community of Holden Heights through learning, gardening, and gathering.

    I think this is a strong concept statement.. I believe it could be stronger if we found a more concise word in place of "grow"..
